In 1995, LUMCON's operating structure was legislatively modified. It is currently under
the authority of a six-member Executive Board comprised of chief
executive officers of Louisiana State University and A&M college, Nicholls State University,
and the University of Louisiana - Lafayette. The Executive Board reports to the
Louisiana
State Board of Regents.
