LUMCON offers semester courses as well as spring break and summer
field courses for university credit, granted through any of the
member or affiliate universities.
Beginning in Spring 1999, LUMCON began teaching courses using the state-
wide Compressed Video network. This state-of-the-art system is allowing
students to take advantage of the expertise of our faculty while remaining
on home campuses. Intensive field trips and visits to the Marine Center
are incorporated in the design of the video course(s), giving students
additional hands-on, field-work experience.
