R/V Acadiana
The R/V Acadiana was designed and built by Breaux's Bay craft , Inc. in Loreauville, LA with funding for her
construction provided by the Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium. Home port is at the Defelice Marine Center in
Cocodrie, LA.
The vessel is outfitted to support research and educational activities in Louisiana
coastal bays and nearshore waters.

Magnetic compass, 2 GPS Chartplotter/sounders, and autopilot
Laboratories:
One 144 sq.ft. with running sea water, 12VDC, 110/220 VAC
Winches:
Trawl winch w/ 500 feet of 1/4 inch cable. One hydro winch w/ 500 feet of 3/16 cable and one electromechanical
winch w/ 500 feet of 3/16 inch single conductor cable.
