The R/V Pelican, along with the rest of the LUMCON research
fleet, is administered through the Vessel Operations Office at the Marine
Center. All questions concerning scheduling, pre-cruise planning, financing,
hazardous materials onboard, or any other aspects of the operation or
outfitting of LUMCON vessels should be referred to the Marine Superintendent

Forms for requesting ship time and other cruise planning
documents are included in this website (see Cruise
Prep). Scheduling for the R/V Pelican is done though the Universities
National Oceanographic Laboratories Systems (UNOLS). Standard UNOLS Ship
Time Request forms and operating schedules for the R/V Pelican can be found
at http://www.unols.org/
A number of smaller LUMCON vessels are docked at the Marine Center and
are available for charter alone, or in conjunction with the R/V Pelican. They
include the 58' R/V Acadiana and a number of small shallow draft vessels.
